Lang Tong (Chinese: 靚汤; literally: “Good Soup”) 2014 directed by Sam Loh. It stars William Lawandi, Angeline Yap, and Vivienne Tseng. Yap and Tseng play sisters involved in a love triangle with a serial womanizer, played by Lawandi. Loh was inspired by Audition and Dumplings. Casting was difficult because of the required nudity and sex scenes, which Loh said were partly in response to a perceived avoidance of risk-taking the local cinema

Lang Tong (2015) – Storyline/Plot:

Zach (William Lawandi), a remorseless serial womanizer and con man, meets his match in Li Ling (Vivienne Tseng), an alluring and well-to-do woman who makes a wicked bowl of pork rib soup. Things take an unexpected turn when Zach meets Li Ling’s younger sister, the drop-dead gorgeous Li Er (Angeline Yap). Soon enough, Zach turns his lecherous attentions towards Li Er, and they begin an affair behind Li Ling’s back. Li Er convinces Zach to help her execute a heinous plot to murder her older sister, whom she blames for causing her mother’s death. However, things are not as simple as they seem.

A softcore film with bad sound effects. The reviews that have come before me are all correct and true. I wasn’t scared once, and the plot line is so basic. That you could tell it in 6 sentences.

I’m just adding one star for Angeline Yap and the other girls who did their best to carry this film. They looked beautiful in it. The Actresses did nothing wrong. Noted as Singapores most controversial movie but the Netflix version must have been cut or maybe I missed something along the way. In a nutshell its about two incestious sisters who lure guys to their apartment to murder them and sell the body parts to a local restaurant owner. Not sure sell because money never is exchanged. Its a sick theme but the Malaysian pork rib soup was the scariest thing in this movie. A really annoying leading guy, two stick insect sisters, some flashbacks which are confusing and plenty of pork rib soup eating.

A better softcore film, would be “High Society” 2018 Korean-movie.
